By the end of the course you plastered wall finish will be like glass You will be working in your own room sized bay and have to complete a full plaster job from the boarding out of walls and ceilings to the final skim coat. We keep the numbers down to a minimum so we can give more individual attention. As well as learning all the tricks of the trade in plastering to get you up to speed quickly, you will be taken through a full understanding of running a self employed plastering business from tools to pricing jobs and dealing with customers. A full detailed information handout book will be given to all students, this valuable book will detail all the different surface preparation and different situations that you are likely to come across when plastering for a living out in the real world. Courses running weekly 1 Day Coving and Artex Covering CourseThis one day add on plastering course includes more skimming practice plus fitting coving to ceilings, cutting internal and external mitres and stop ends. You will also be skimming/ covering over Artex ceilings to get them smooth, there is a big demand now for getting Artex smooth again and 70% of domestic jobs will require this to be done and you will loose out by not offering this service. This is a busy full on practical day in the workshop, this course will definitely increase your earning potential and this course should pay for itself after completing your first customer job.
